From the "you can't be serious" archive....
Apparently Ari is making the ladies swoon.......
quote: "You are so damned hot... And smart, too! I ... am enthralled by your ... adorably handsome appearance."
"You are so cute and intelligent."
"I believe he is the first bald man I have ever been attracted to!!!"
No, these are not accolades for Bruce Willis, rather excerpts from fan mail to White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer posted on the Web. Not since the heady days of mini Adonis George Stephanopoulos has a presidential spinmeister received such attention from the ladies.
"My friend and I have our own 'club' for Ari and are big fans!" wrote two girls from Washington State on Ari Fan Club, one of several sites devoted to Fleischer. "He is just very comforting and ... nice. He is so eloquent and trustable! We are definitely fans of Ari! ... We're two teenage girls with a political icon crush! Strange? Yes! But he's a cool guy!"

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Hmm. Yes. "Trustable." Indeed.
I am unable to decide if this reflects upon our educational system, the intellegence of the fan, or both. I hope it is just the fan plus home schooling. If not, we are raising a generation containing a staggering percentage of dolts unable not only to speak properly, but lacking critical thinking skills as well. These, added to the equally staggering percentage of dolts that we already have, will spell the demise of American culture, if it's not already gone.
And just wait 'till the fundies take over all the school boards. Hah, hah! We ain't seen nothin', yet! (Big Dummy Smiley here)

Okay, so the guy's got a fan club. Even James Carville had a couple of goofy gal's fawning over his televised persona. Here's the real test; Let's see if he's got any fans over at Planet Out! |

"American culture"? What's that?
The lack of critical thinking skills is not new, but has been inculcated into the electorate on purpose, so that it can be more easily manipulated (to buy crap, to vote for idiots, etc.). And I think you're absolutely right, we ain't seen nuthin' yet!
