I think pasta is entirely under-rated. It has many shapes, sizes and colours. It can be prepared from any grain. It can be eaten with butter alone or with a sauce of more complex inspiration. Pasta can be served as an appetizer, a main course or as a dessert. You can prepare it with chicken, beef or pork; you may serve pasta with vegetables; you may use a bowl or a plate to serve your pasta; and you can have either low fat or highly rich pastas. Is there any food so versatile? Yet pasta is served so rarely. I vote for a National Mandate on Pasta Comsumption. Write your local MP today!

If i were the supreme being, I wouldn't have messed around with butterflies and daffodils. I would have started with lasers 8 o'clock day one!

Are you daft, man? Served so rarely? Pasta seems to be everywhere.
Bread....or grains if you will, have always been a versatile food, so you are correct there.
If I were to choose a food I'd want to eat all the time it would be avocados. As far as versatile, IMO, all vegetables are. That is what people should be eating all the time so they'd be more healthy.
My dog loves avocados, oranges, watermelon and so many others fruits and vegies. |

Personally I like pasta with seafood, we call it fisherman s pasta
