I am beginning to believe that evolution has screwed it up again. H sapiens is simply too gullible a species to survive for much longer.

My own "animal companion", Roswell the Atomic Poodle, says that he is highly skeptical of this as well; and he definitely doesn't want to hear from that ground squirrel he killed last year.

I beg to differ, it is just as possible to speak to dead animals as it is to be socially correct about serving "spray cheese" at a black tie affair...oh wait...

Toronto is the capital of Canada, and I live in a giant igloo. Blubber anyone?

The response from Moose, Softy and Peabody, ranking members of the Cat's Committee on Running the Household, has been the "whaddya mean, we have tiny brains" look.

I think. It might be the "Food. Dish.Now." look.

Kim Pickett, who teaches pet owners ways to talk to their living and dead pets at two-day "Communicating with Animals" seminars at the Spring Haven Center in Malvern, says everyone has the ability to do like Doolittle.

"This is nothing supernatural ... it's an innate gift, it's hardwired into us but when we're enculturated to believe that it's not possible the instinct becomes atrophied and we forget how to do it," she said.

hahahahahahaaaaaaa ...it s the first time I hear something like this..lol
well, this means that we can communicate with the dead fried chickens, meat balls etc etc we ate a few minutes ago...
we can send to our pets in pet heaven/hell messages through our mental vibrations, and these vibrations are gonna be something like a translator from human language to pet language and vice versa!!! dead pet translator!! nice... hahahaha

Is this an 'American English' word, cause I really wanna take the piss!

I wonder though, has she ever had a message from a dog that went along the lines of (said in a "spike" accent) "Yeah, and tell the bastard he should have fixed my leaking kennel"

"Frazier is so ugly he should donate his face to the US Bureau of Wild Life."

"I am America. I am the part you won't recognize, but get used to me. Black, confident, cocky. My name, not yours. My religion, not yours. My goals, my own. Get used to me."

"Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."

I never heard of it neither, Welsh, but I think it's a product of socio-mediafied enjargonination.
