1. All scientists say the sun is shrinking, ver very very slowly but it is. If the earth is some 70 billion years old then the sun would have been HUGE! Therfore the earth burns up, and none of us are here.

I would like to start by asking if you could please reveal the source of this information. (Let's forget about the blunder of the Earth being 70 billion years, and agree that the number should have been around 4,6 billion according to general consensus of the scientific community.)

Measurement of the diameter of the sun has only been documented for a limited time, perhaps a few hundred years. And in the beginning, the accuracy of those measurements were terrible. It has only been in the last 70-100 years that measurements has been fairly good. Even then, different methods of calculating the diameter would give different results. If (back in 1830s when the first measurement is claimed by creationists) the accuracy of the measurement is 0,2% of the diameter, then a shrinking speed of 5 feet/hour could actually be attributed to inaccuracy.

A recent measurement of the solar diameter has been made by Brown & Christensen-Dalsgaard (1998). Viewing data from 1981-1988, they report a radius of 695,508 +- 26 km, with no evidence of change over time.
If the sun had been shrinking at the speed of 5 feet/hour (which seems to be the consensus of creationists) then a difference of 490 km would have been detected.
