Unfortunatly, the wrong fool landed in the hospital, but at least the right and most deserving fool is not gonna get off scott free.
Speaking from an evolutionary point of view, it gives me hope for the future.

I consider the KKK to be a terrorist organization, and its members should be prosecuted to the fullest extent allowed by law. It's really sickening to me to know that children are exposed to their hate-mongering as well as adults. I also don't think they should've let Freeman out on bail.

Here's a different kind of idiot...
Distressed Thai businessman falls to death raising 'lucky' flag on roof
Yes, death by superstition!
As far as the KKK is concerned, I agree with Walt; I dont see any difference between one group using the Koran to justify murder and another one using the Bible to do the same. How come the US government is letting one group of terrorists be, while hunting down another? Ah, yes, "Bible" is the key word here... Yeech...

Oh, Walt, Walt, Walt...They can't be terrorists. They're good Republicans that voted for GW. |

Doc, I live for Darwin Award updates. Alas, having already contributed to the gene pool, and I like to think that my contrabution was not to the shallow end of it, I am no longer qualified to recieve this prestigious recognition. A pity, really. I can think of some hugely spectacular and extraordinarly stupid ways to leave this mortal coil.
The Klan is nothing like it used to be in the forties and fifties, when I was growing up in the deep south. They've pretty much deteroiated to being merely the visible, festering head of a much larger pustule. At one time, I had a list of the more rabid organizations, and it's count was considerable. Unfortunatly, I dumped it, but I'll see if I can find it, or one like it, again.
Let us be a little careful in how we condemn these clowns. The First Amendment says that, short of inciting to riot, they can say almost anything idiot thing that comes to mind. Further, with proper permits, they can march in the streets, wave flags and show off their pretty sheets, and spread their blather anywhere in the country to anyone who might have nothing better to do than listen to them. And I support that. That's freedom (something we seem to be rapidly losing).
O'course, when they step out of line, something large and ugly should land on them with all, four feet.

One of my favorites, and next to the soundtrack from The Mission one of my favorite movie soundtracks. Check out the guitar player from O Brother. That's Chris Thomas King, son of Tabby Thomas. Tabby's a Baton Rouge Swamp Blues legend. Some of his guitarists included Arthur 'Guitar' Kelly, Tab Benoit and John Lisi.
Sorry, only a small hijack, but I couldn't resist. |

Why? Does Roots music plant images in your head of big burly men who enjoy watching others imitate farm animals?
Hmmm...Come to think about it--I'm a big burly man...Ever thought about taking a canoe...er, I mean pirogue trip down the bayou? |
