It was foretold; warnings have been spread around for untold generations. And none of you blasphmous heathen bastards paid the least attention, did you? Oh no, rather you ridiculed the Beast with disbelief and hilarity, even as He was preparing Gehenna to recieve your shrivled, leperous souls.

Well, pretty damned soon now, you're gonna get your long over-due comeuppance. Bigtime, yessiree! Whilst the Devout and Godly are getting a Mega-Rapture Production (on Pay per View. Check your Faith-Based TV Listings), you will be hurled in amongst Mohammedins, Hindoos, Fat Buddiests, Pagans, Roy Moore and John Ashcroft critics, Democrats, unwashed and drunken Bikers, Hillary Clinton, and all the rest of those who failed to pander until their knees were bloody to the One True Belief. Oh, how the Faithful, the True Christians, will enjoy the symphony of your agonized howls and the spectical of sprays of enamal flying from your gnashing teeth!

Even the little, bitty, babies are going to pay in spades for not Believing! So all you heretic scum better sit up and take notice; the End Times ain't just a'coming, they're HERE!!

The chip is implanted just under the loose skin in the forearm in a small operation, using a local anaesthetic. The procedure takes about three minutes and once inserted the chip is invisible to the naked eye.

It is activated when it comes close to a till or cash machine sending out low-power radio waves. Once activated, the chip sends data to the till or ATM* - this can be a credit card number, or an employee ID number.

The blasphemous demon of the apocalypse has arrived!!!! 666, Markus'de beast!!!
(remember back in the sixties when plastic charge cards made their way here, and the fundies riling and seething about the end of the world? What a fucking joke!)

Yes, dear god, save our retched souls!....in the same breath, many ministers are rubbing two sticks together - maybe the passing collection plate can have that receiver in it for auto-10%-tithing-credit-deduct from parishioner's accounts.

Oh, I have heard that song before. However, I am still waiting. Perhaps I am a bit of a masochist? Whee! The end is coming, the end is coming, the end is coming.

Whenever...

ljbrs :) ;) Whee!

Indeed! How are those poor televangelists going to make a living if Jesus shows up?

Not to worry, Paladin. Pat & Jerry, Ken & Benny, et al, will not only survive, but prosper. If Jesus should be so foolish as to actually book a return engagement (or another one, if you count his storied escape from the tomb), the holy, electronic blatherskites would immeadatly castigate him as some sort of liberal-commie, cross-dressing, hippy-type, weirdo-freak. They'd brand anyone following or even listening to him as cultists on the scale of the late Heaven's Gate and fervently pray, loudly and pubicly, that the entire, scrofulous congregation is either locked up, or better still, Wacoed.

I fear that the teachings of Jesus have little relevence in our modern world, except the, "I come with a sword!" and "You got to hate your parents!" parts (I have a little trouble with these last. Big J might have been a little far out, but he didn't seem to have been quite that sort of lunatic. It's concievable that we're being spun yet another holy yarn ).

Hey Randy, I too lived through the '60s. I don't rightly remember much of anything from that decade......

I'm sure there must be a good reason for that...
