I thought you guys might want to see this article I found over at morons.org. General Tommy Franks says that in the event of a WMD attack that kills lots of people, either on American soil or that of an ally, the Constitution would likely be scrapped in favor of a more military form of government: Gen. Since I've read about Operation Northwoods, I wouldn't put it past the current administration to engineer just such an event, just as I supect them of engineering 9/11, or at least allowing it to happen.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I very much fear for the future of our great Republic!

Saw it, and Franks has been given a well-earned Vidkun Quisling Award for it. The Quisling is second only to the Darwin in prestige.
This is merely another case of having nothing to say and saying it anyway. Or maybe he wanted ot scare the living shit out of as many of us as possible. Thus far, I ain't skeered, at least not by that.

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it's a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.

Yes. But I think the award was a mistake. What with all of that gibberish coming out of his mouth, there couldn't be room for his foot.
