If I lived farther north, I think I'd like to attend this class. It looks like fun.
quote: As Amberstone speaks, pens fly across notepads as heads nod vigorously. These dense philosophical ruminations are the reason people attend his classes. They come to learn something they can't get from an average tarot book -- the hidden meaning of the illustrated cards, which draw their symbols from a variety of spiritual systems, including the Jewish mystical practice of Kabbalah, Christian mysticism, alchemy and ancient Greek and Egyptian religions.

I put this in Religion because didn't seem to fit well anywhere else.
I guess it was a couple of years ago when one of my neighbors, bitten by the witnessing bug, cornered me and told me all about a sermon his minister gave the preceding Sunday. It seems that the good reverend was railing against the occult, with the tarot represented as Satan's sharpest tooth. I was given to understand that the ouji (is that really pronounced "wee-gee?") board was the second sharpest.
Of particular interest is the poll on the site. It's not very well worded, but it looks like skeptics are poorly represented, never the less. A mere 14% hit the "Harmless, New Age Fluff" button as opposed to 33% thinking it's great tool for introspection and 25% of the same opinion as my neighbor and his preacher (with whom I also am aquainted).
