The economy maybe cyclical, but cutting taxes by a trillion dollars while touting a surplus that was obviously not going to be there anymore is completely asinine.
Not to mention his faith based initiatives(yay! tax dollars for religous crap) and creating and increasing spending on agencies to erode civil liberties.
Bush is a jackass it is that simple. Not to mention a complete moron. Someone who went to Yale(supposedly) shouldn't say 'nuke-u-lar' for fucksake.
While I submit that all career politicians blow goats. Bush is by far the worst anyone could've ever imagined. He doesn't even know what his job or the Constitution are supposed to be. He seems to think that his being president means he gets to tell the rest of the country(and world) how to live, which is by his moronic ideas.
