It's out of hand, and our journalists just let it fly....

Most recently this question has been making the rounds of the various news interview/talk shows...

quote:
Has the invasion of Iraq interfered with or harmed the efforts of the US to fight terrorism?

When it's asked of republicans or other right-wing types, the answer is always some variation of: "The world is a better place without Saddam Hussein."

I have yet to hear a jounrnalist call anyone on this straw man and insist on a direct answer.

Ignorance is preferable to error; and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing, than he who believes what is wrong.
-- Thomas Jefferson

"god :: the last refuge of a man with no answers and no argument." - G. Carlin

The U.S. is doing their best to duplicate him as closely as possible right now.

The answer to that question is so obvious, that the only reason there is to ask it, is to determine if the one being asked is living in the real world or living in a fantacy...
