How can these idiots live with themselves. They clearly saw what was going to be posted and freaked out. Peptide was clearly the most well behaved and polite poster on that entire site.
Golly... I'm just so shocked that the debate didn't work out.
Hopefully, tkster can find an 'evolutionist' that doesn't really understand evolution so he can have fine upstanding christian debate.

Hold off a bit Ricky. I just sent tk an email. Lets see how he replies before you go off on him... |

Can't say I'm suprised.
I knew they wouldn't be treating anyone fairly over there. |

Mmm, I believe the rule they say Peptide broke is the one about how ONE evolutionist will face ONE creationist or whatever. By posting his unfinished work to us, and asking us to evaluate it, it's essentially done by more than one evolutionist, thereby violating the debate rule.
Childish, but that's what I got from the whole deal. |

So, how does one defend oneself from an accusation of bringing another person to a forum if one is innocent of doing so? Really, there is little possibility of a positive defense of the charge, as an alibi on the Internet is a ridiculous concept.
The only thing would be to link to a post on some other forum in which Peptide wrote something along the lines of "Proctor, do not join SkepticFriends." But how likely is that? |

Alright, that was the last straw. Fuck this guy. He has Peptide work through coming up with a whole debate, and then calls it off. He is the one running from the debate. I'll be emailing tk for the next two weeks each day (or close to that) with nasty letters, because I can't take this shit any more. Peptide has not violated any of the rules. This is bullshit.
Ha, you're sounding like me now, Ricky!
Seriously, though. I'll be super-pissed if he doesn't let Peptide post after all the work he's done. I know research can be its own reward, and Peptide's efforts have enriched all of us here already, but I still want to see how tk and his cronies go about rebutting it. I've no doubt that if they lose the debate it will disappear overnight, but I still want to see what they'll have to say in defense of their precious fairy tale.

What the hell!!?? I'll try to get the mess over at skeptictimes cleared up, sending an email to tk now. Funny thing is, he banned atheists but I am not an atheist, I am an agnostic. Oh well, tk has made an apology so I guess the debate is still on. |
