He's entertaining, in the least. And no, Verlch, I don't detest the Bible. I carry one in my college bag all the time, to read when I've the time. I might not be a paranoid fundie like you, but no, I don't detest the Bible at all. |

Lie one: I do not detest the Bible, I've read it 17 times, how is that even possible. It is an awesome book, it is just wrong.
quote: Where did you come from and who put you here and what is your purpose?
I am hoping my purpose isn't to answer fools like you or else I am in trouble.
quote: Why do you have fath in a theory that has drawings, pictures of skulls and badly decomposed skeletons to prove its 'theory' as fact?
Strawman. To be fair, you don't know what aspects of evolution I may or may not accept. When people declare "fossil evidence" I do laugh. But then again, you probably haven't ever read Gould have you?
quote: The bible has plenty of prophesy that is true and held to be true. Darwinism predicted millions of fossils proving his theory.
I just showed MANY times that the Bible has been WRONG in prophecy, at least over 50 times. If the Bible is wrong just ONCE, then it is wrong.
quote: There are there he proclaimed, yet no fossils in direct transition are found. The only transition fossils we find are drawings and lots of writing on what they would look like. This is all for trillions of species and fossils! Your work is cut out for you men!
Strawman! Again, you are posting against gradualism. Perhaps if you heard me on IG's show you would know that like Gould, I don't accept the "transition fossils" idea. Please learn more about evolution then just gradualism before you make blanket statements.

You might as well as say these quotes are from people who are nitpicking the bible on points that mean very little! I suggest you learn Hebrew and find if they still mean the same!

There are no atheists in foxholes
Underlying the evolutionary theory is not just the classic "stuff" of science — conclusions arrived at through prolonged observation and experimentation. Evolution is first an atheistic, materialistic world view. In other words, the primary reason for its acceptance has little to do with the evidence for or against it. Evolution is accepted because men are atheists by faith and thus interpret the evidence to cor-respond to their naturalistic philosophy.

tkster, you must understand that verlch must tell himself lies in order to maintain his self-righteous indignation. Lies such as that anyone who argues against the King James Version of the Bible in any way hates it, that people who accept evolution in any way have "faith" in it, that there are no transitional fossils, or that stars are not being born or dying (different thread).
And there are transitional fossils. Gould's punctuated equilibria explain the general lack of transitional fossils at the genus level and below, but not the transitionals we do have at higher levels, like Archeopteryx. Don't forget that "transitional fossil" only means that it displays the characters of two different groups, and Archeopteryx displays characters from both dinosaurs and birds. |

Ah yes, of course. But I still caught him in his own words, if he wants to be in denial, no problem here.

I've read a lot about Archeopteryx but until I see some DNA evidence, I remain highly skeptical. That is why I respected Gould and Patterson for so long even as a Creationist because they were willing to admit that no watertight argument could be made. That isn't to say they don't exist, but rather, we don't know for sure.

But again, such a lively corpse.
Verlch, just you wishing for it will not make it so.
Say, how'd you like to win the Dine-O-Mite prize? The Big Boomer; the Fire in the Hole? It's easy; all you got to do is debunk the Theory of Evolution.
That's it; just show the world this 'mass grave' and it will all be yours. I'd do it myself, but I already have so many prizes that there's no room left on the shelf.

I get it. If the Bible is full of lies, just because in your mind evolution is baloney that justifies the Bible lying?

Yes! any of those would put the ToE in it's place: at the bottom of the spectic tank with the rest that scientific shit.
But if those rare creatures cannot be found, there is still the Jackalope, Bigfoot (no, not me, idiot!), Nessie, the Gullywhomper, Mothman, the Hairy Trout, Werepossums, the Hoop Snake, Elvis, Angels, Demons, Beasts with Seven Heads, and George W. Bush's Intellect to be discovered and examined.
Failing all of that, perhaps you can persuade Kil to divulge the current location of Batboy.

And what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?!? A quick review, since you have trouble following an argument: 1) tkster noted some problems with Biblical prophecy; 2) you counter tkster's argument by suggesting that they're based on a flawed understanding of the Hebrew (like you can read Biblical Hebrew, but whatever); 3) I noted that as someone who can read Biblical Hebrew, tkster was using perfectly acceptable translations; 4) you announce that you think it's funny that I believe that life's diversity on this planet is due to evolution, and not divine fiat.
Can you see how people think you're crazy? It's not because you link shit about Masons and Babylon and pyramids (though that helps). It's because you appear to have so much trouble following a simply train of thought that only a chemical imbalance can explain your logic. |

Perhaps you don't recall myself saying i'm a dyslexic genius? This is the way God made me and it doesn't make me crazy because I don't think like an Imperfectionist...Sorry Cue the world is made up of billions of people that are all different and none in the same! God could have an unlimited amount of people in this universe and we all would be different! Vioce finger prints, ways of thinking (my dear human), much to the empathy of those who have put themselves on a pedestal lording over those that do not think as they do. All the masonic things are in the conspiracy folder, so there.
Israel was captured by Egypt for some time, that could explain the obelisk and other things involved with these people. Daniel was thrown in the lions den by the king of Babylon, and the Lord shut up the mouths of the lions and they didn't eat him. The bible is fine, you just have know it alls combing the pages looking for perceived typos. All we have to do is look at the fossil record and see the pile of bones Darwin and co. are buried in. Evolving from the 'Great Ape' what a crime. An absolute pedastal of mockery to me and my family! A testimate to depravity and coercion. |
