A positive example of a group of children not empowered by adults is referenced In the Swedish book "Institutionsbarn och hemmabarn", (Institutionkids and homekids) written by Inger Bernth and printed by Wahlström & widstrand Stockholm 1973, p127 - p134. Freely translated and shorthened due to length by me:
It tells a unik story about 6 children, only devoted to each others and getting only the most neccesery care from adults. They where 6 German Jews barely 1 yo in Theresiensstadt Concentrationcamp. After the liberation 2 - 3 years later, in spring 1945 the Russians brought them to a Tjeckian Castle to recuperate. In August they arrived to Bulldog Banks i England. At first they where savage, reckless and without joy, the toys and most of the furnitures where destroyed after two days. Against adults they where either cold indifferent or hostile. All the positive feelings considered the group. Their only attachments concerned each others. Nobody wanted to do anything if not everyone joined in. In the beginnig John was their leader at the meals. The youngest named Peter had most fantasies and was their natural leader when playing games. The childrens unusual emotional attachment to each other was followed by an almost total lack of envy or competition. They always defended each others when treathened and where no tattertales. Everything they shared, cared for each others and helped without asking. This Behaviour was rule and no exception. From page 132: Miriam was unik in that respect that She developed a fiery emotional relationsship to a fadersfigure. We can't explain it through earlier experiences. It's like all new needs. "Januari 1946. Mr E, a neighbour, is on a wisit to the children a whole afternoon and theaching them some songs. At the moment Miriam appear to be more intressed in his picturebook than his personae. But in the evening She starts crying after Him. She wakes two times in night, crying after Him and asks for Him repeatdly." "Mars 1946. Miriam has met Mr E. more often in later times. One evening He brushed Her hair, and now she insists that he shold do it again. Those nights He would'nt appear Her hair remains untidy beacause She don't let anyone else thouch it. She blushes whenever she sees Him. At least 20 times each day She says: "Meine mr E - meine Sophie". "Mars 1946. Mr E. says about Miriam: "I have newer seen anybody like Her. That girl moun and gasps of compassion." Although Mr E moved from vilage shortly after, Miriam never forgot Him. Everytime She got something special like a toy or dress or found a new flower She said: " I shall show it for Miriams Mr E".

Angry Child tells Lucifer: Let's Dance! GOD Almighty asks Angry Child not to Hurry, rest and play with the other children at SFN for awhile. Angry Child respond, slightly annoyed, but they are boring! |
