I just saw the moon landing hoax thread.
Some time ago there was a film that mocked the whole conspiricy thing. It was filmed as though it was a documentary and actually had "interviews" with some members of the US government IIRC.
I remember being fooled for some time (20-30 mins) before I caught on.
Anybody remember the title of this film?

I did watch it. And then I read something on the Internet that tore the whole thing to pieces.
I think the Russians would have gone out of their way to disprove our landing there if it had been hoaxed. But whatever the truth, I think we should go back there. It's a natural stepping stone to reaching other planets. |

It has become evident over the last week that our Federal Governments response to the Katrina disaster is a full tilt demonstration of our government's incompetence.
How anyone could think that that same government could orchestrate or maintain any large conspiracy over the span of four decades without being caught is beyond me.

Because, the gov't intentionally screwed up the Katrina effort, and thereby killed hundreds or thousands, in order to keep the impression of incompetence.  |

Although I deeply sympathise with the US in regards the calamaties brought on by Katrina, I don't think this is what is at issue here.
The moon hoax landing conspiracy is an industry which is in many ways being feulled by the very people who don't beleive it the most.
Those two instances I cited where examples of that very point. |
