I found this pretty cool game The Doors. It is like a puzzle, you must go around different rooms finding objects to help you escape this house. It took me about 1-2 hours to do.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Ah! That one I knew already. It's pretty cool.

45 minutes. Lucked into part of it.

May help if you've previously done games like "the Red Room" and "MOTAS."

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

A few more of these sorts of games are mentioned in Grand Text Auto. Seems I remembered the name of "the Crimson Room" incorrectly - perhaps part of the reason I couldn't find it again.

Help, I can't take it any more. I have everything in the 'Doors' except the last step. My box remains open and I don't have the middle square of the torn paper. Pretty please may I have a clue or the next step before I waste any more of my life?

Thanks. I will try again. I tried to put the cards and the box everywhere including on things in the key but perhaps I missed that.

I see how the cards go in and why I missed it before. I see which order to stack the cards or spread them out. I have tried it in various rooms and in various orders and I tried putting the tiny cross over the big one. Nothing happens with all these. If you are worried about spoilers PM me. I am going crazy because I got this far and can't get the last step.

This is a small spoiler, it won't give the whole thing away:

The game is filled with rooms, each room is a number, there is a logical ordering to these numbers

I think I got that part but I will look again at the numbers I thought the rooms were assigned.
