quote: LIFE, MIND, TRUTH, LOVE, SPIRIT, IS ALL IN ALL. These Five which were explained in the first lesson are the Alpha and OMega, the begginning and end of everything; they are a Law by themselves, the law of life, of mind, of truth, of Love which is the Law of Spirit. They include everything, and is why Jesus , who knew these laws, said, " Love thy God( The Great Priciple) with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength, and love thy neighbor as thyself," and when he was asked further, " what about the other commandments?" he answered " All the laws and all the prophets are in those two commandments." The great principle, the Absolute, is all Life, all mind, all truth, all love, all spirit; all there is, is in the Great All, and if we apply that Law, the Law of life, of mind, of truth and of love, to all problems of our daily life, we work out, without noticing it, all the perfection we can ever aspire to, we build up the Pyramid of our own life and reach the Point of Spirit, and we do not notice how it happens, because it is the Great Principle Itself Who is working to that end through us. It is Its work as much as ours. All we have to do is to be concious, open channels for that.
Did anyone else notice that this "description" doesn't actually say anything about how this alleged law works, nor how to apply it to anything? All these words may as well be replaced by "blah-di-blah," as it'll make precisely as much sense.
Kilik, if you can explain how the law works, or how one should apply it, I'd be interested in listening. |

A lesser man would give it up at this point, but weeding through this rather remarkable gobbledegook, I've not seen anything to do with the existence of Atlantis. Atlantis and related myths is where my interest in it all lies.
So, I ask again, Kilik: without resorting to more than necessary reference, please explain why you think that this land existed, if indeed you do. And if you do not accept the existence of Atlantis, do enlighten us as to why you are using it as an example of whatever you are trying to prove.
Forgive me, I'm a little slow but what the hell are you trying to prove, anyway?

Dave, how much text can be posted before it becomes a copyright violation? I mean, there's not much original comments by Kilik in that post, but it looks like 99,9% quoting. It may be transcribed from print, and not electronic media, but it's still just a lot of quoting with hardly anything else. |

It's a moot point in this case, Mab. I was just too lazy to stick a single phrase of it into Google until now (in this case, "The wonderful symplicity of that one Universal Law is that" - note bolded typo!), and find out it's just more cutting and pasting (including the "All I can type" part - as if it was typed again). If "Atlantis Rising" is worried about copyright infringement, they can deal with it.
Kilik: This is an official warning from an SFN administrator: stop copying posts from other forums to this one. From now on, I won't be doing you the courtesy of leaving a link, I'll just delete the stuff. |

However many living beings there are in all those lands, though they have manifold modes of mind, the teacher understands them all. Wherefore? Because the teacher teaches that all these are not Mind; they are merely called "mind". You see, it is impossible to retain past mind, impossible to hold on to present mind, and impossible to grasp future mind.

Oh yeah-- how about this:
Time flows through various points through which it waxes and wanes in connection with astral signs. These signs represent quantum flux points.

And on it goes...
Well Kilik, don't say I didn't warn you. But now, lets see if you are capable of learning from your mistakes. Either you will learn to make a coherent case for whatever it is you're pushing, or you will no doubt be subject to, and deservedly so, the kind of ridicule you see in the above quotes. You might start again by first reading the articles in our About Skepticism area. Read our mission statement too. Prepare yourself or you will eventually be completely ignored. Or worse…

I guess not...
Kilik let me describe your behavior in an allegory(skip if you're eating),
A man(you) walks into the offices of SFN(this web site)says the word "Chi" and squats on the bosses desk, relieves himself, and asks the boss what he thinks of that.... Being an extremely reasonable person the boss says well that was an interesting and unexpected event, could you help us understand what this pile of #$%@ has to do with Chi? In response the man jumps on the desk and drops another load of crap.
We are perfectly capable of surfing the web, if you have nothing to add but piles of links, then please dont bother.
In short get this shit off our desk. |
