This is getting better and funnier every day, except for the original owner of the departed digit, 'o course, who probably won't get jack out of it; not even her finger back.

I wonder how many freshly-healed stubbies will start showing up in attempts to shake loose the 100 large.
I think that the finger came from a fresh corpse. I think that someone did a minor Burke & Hare, and flavored up the chili for fun and profit.
I further think that this person should be severly chastised for the unpardonable sins of desecrating and defiling the chili, even if it is no more than the cheap, generic chili served by a squat & gobble.
On the other hand (snicker), I wonder if... no. Better not go there...

| I seriously doubt that Wendy's is stupid enough to part with the money without DNA evidence....but I'm sure that some people are dumb enough to chop off their own finger in order to try for the $$$$.... |

Yes, and worse yet, she ruined the chili! The woman has no soul!

Grease pit chili is crap that I wouldn't eat even with a stolen, silver spoon. It's the principle of the matter; if this madwoman will sneak someone else's finger (and who knows where it's been?) into a bowl of Wendy's, what's stopping her from doing the same to some of the ambrosia? Why, it would spell the end of civilization as we know it!

Ok but I think your punishment should be reduced since all she did was spoil (or maybe improve) some of Wendy's crap from a can. Who knows, a little finger might make Wendy's stuff actually edible

Which is the problem with the chili served up in the fast food joints. It's just so generic that it has no personality. You don't get that warm, fresh jalepenjo glow as you finish the last of it and sit back belching onion and garlic fumes, dabbing the drippage out of your beard, and wishing that you had room for more. Chili is not a merely a food, it is the life's blood of the spirit.

Ah, so many questions. If memory serves, it was described as, "manicured." I've never known any working stiffs who bothered with a lot of nail care. I never did.
O'course, the news might have made the 'manicured' portion out of the whole cloth, as they seem to too often do.
