Einstein, Heisenberg, and Tipler, after equal invariant intervals in purgatory, find themselves before the Throne of God.

As a man, they exclaim, "What did I do to merit an eternity down (brrrrr) there"?

God thought for a moment; when you're omnipresent in spacetime there's no need for haste. He turned first to Einstein...

A great read for those with a weird sense of humor. I guess you need to be a science buff to appreciate it.

Admitted science geek here, saying "thanks," Mab. Especially because the item you linked to linked to Walker's review of Tipler's Physics of Immortality. Tipler got some mention in this thread (you may remember it), but I never got interested enough in him to look further than I did. Walker's review helped immensely.

I thought the book was a bit of a ramble but the review here hasn't helped me any either. Probably over my head or something.
