This is one of the funniest phone calls I've ever heard.

Apparently a guy was leaving a message for his boss because he was running late for work when he witnesses an accident. His play by play of what ensues is absolutely priceless. His laugh is just contagious.

I think the best part is that the guy could identify the version of the Bible being used.

Except he says "NVI" instead of "NIV"...

Given how hard he was laughing, I think we can forgive that mistake.

Call me a skeptic but I think it sounds fake. Something about how long the event supposedly goes on.

Me too. The laughing caller describes the driver having an accident then getting out and arriving at the other car awfully fast, compared to real time. Someone played this for me several months ago and though I'm a wacky guy and love slapstick, (big Marx Brothers fan,) I sat uncomfortably, hoping it would end. The laugh didn't affect me. The impression for me was basically of a bone-headed redneck laughing at a guy in an accident who then gets beat up and pepper sprayed by a bunch of women. The redneck aspect of the "humor" continues in the fact that it implies its funny that women are beating up the guy, and no thought is given to helping him either. I'm a party pooper on this one. Others might find this funny and I guess that's OK but in the words of Sig Rumann in Howard Hawks' "Only Angels Have Wings": "Include me out."

Diversity, independence, innovation and imagination are progressive concepts ultimately alien to the conservative mind.

"TAX AND SPEND" IS GOOD! (TAX: Wealthy corporations who won't go poor even after taxes. SPEND: On public works programs, education, the environment, improvements.)
