I am not a professor.

I have. You lack the comprehension of simple concepts which is the basis of physics.

But, I'll try again.

Big objects pull on other objects. This is called gravity. It is the force that keeps you from flying off of this miserable rock when you walk.

The probe gets pulled by this force as it nears Venus and speeds up because of it.

As it swings by, it gets more of a boost in speed due to vectoring. (see tetherball example)

As is moves away from Venus, that pull then slows the probe down.

Please reference a physics textbook on the in's and outs of this force in your native language. Of particular interest would be a section about Sir Issac Newton concerning gravity.

Vectoring can be gleaned from the work of Johnnes Kepler and others.

How interesting that you clipped one statement which changes the context.

The full quote is "If I continued to doubt that sugar is sweet in spite of all existing evidence to the contrary, and no supporting evidence for my claim, that would not make me a skeptic. That would make me wrong."

This, sir, is called a strawman arguement. It is also intellectually dishonest of you.

The point put forth is that if Kil continued to doubt something in the face of all proof put forth, it would mean he is not only wrong but not a skeptic. A skeptic by definition looks at all available evidence and using critical thinking arrives at a conclusion.

You, sir, do none of these things.

Yes, I read your first post. You posted a lot of numbers. We (and by we, I mean they) have been dicussing those numbers ever since. But when ever we try to talk about those numbers with you, you don't even attempt to understand, you just say that we are talking like professors.

So if won't take the time to understand, how can we ever talk to you? I would really like an answer, this question has been bothering me ever since my first encounter with a Creationist.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

Acceleration and deceleration are the same and the probe maintains its velocity

Only if you stupidly ignore vectoring.

Nope. Sorry, I've studied physics. There is no truth in what you say.

Hasn't NASA made any drawing about these craps?

No. You have failed to take into account Venus' orbital velocity.

He, bigbrain, just a point of order: since you're not a native speaker, I thought I'd let you know that the proper English vernacular is "this crap"-- there's no such thing as "craps"-- unless you're talking about a casino game involving dice.
