1st of all, Zaphod, Gambling is the only fun thing to do in Vegas, unless you like nature hikes. What's a matter, you can't get a real girl to sleep with you, ha ha.
Brian, that's what I was going to say, they'd think you are gay. It's either a funny situation or dangerious, depending on who you are with, watch your back. Or maybe they aren't like people in Idaho!
I'm an artist too. Have done a lot of photography but now I've started doing ceramics again after a lot of years away from it. What type of art do you do?

ps.I love LV, it's my my favorite city execpt for Bangkok.

I don't know about nature hikes, but I hear that the most fun thing to do, is to take a tour of the old Nuclear Test Range. I'm not sure if it's still open to the Public in the Current Crises, but my suspicion is that the fear of witnessing that kind of Devastation, even in Nevada, firsthand, would outweight the potential for any Data Collection. If you go there, just remember, call a few Days in advance, bring a Bag Lunch, and check all Firearms at the Gate.

Compared to the Adult Film Stars who occasionally Vacation there, in a word, No.

Let me guess, you go there for the Scenery

If you Ignore Your Rights, they WILL, go away.

Professionally, I'm an artist at a small animation studio. We're currently producing episodes of a computer-animated educational series about math, but we've also done art and animation for a couple videogames, as well as some preproduction for feature films. My main thing is lighting and textures, I don't get into character design or animation too much.

I also do some fine art on the side . . . I'm primarily interested in photorealism as a means of increasing viewer acceptance of synthetic images . . . I've made a couple completely synthetic scenes that have fooled professional photographers.

I produce some experimental electronic music too, but that's just a lark really . . . something to do when the visual stuff gets frustrating.

Anyway, there's loads of stuff at the URL in my signature, if you've got some time to kill.

edit: not sure why my reply is showing up before your message snake . . . weird.

What software package are you using - right now I'm stuck with 3D Studio - but I just got a Beta version of Maya - which I haven't had much time to poke around and figure out. Nice work BTW. I'll have to see if I can actually fire up the old JAZ drive and download some of my stuff - if anyone's interested. (My computer fried and I'm not sure if the JAZ works anymore.)

Really?!!! I've been there more times then I can count and I don't recall hearing about that, if you are serious. But then the memory is not what it used to be or else if I read about it I must have put it out of my mind because it wasn't something of interest to me. The tour of the Hover Dam is awesom though.

LOL. Poor boy! I like younger men, just in case I ever get up your way, ha ha. But you are really young, oh well!

If you mean that the way I think you do, boy! are you way off. And I really do like the scenery, I've taken thousands upon thousands of photos of all around the country side over the years.
I have friends and family in Thailand and when I go it's for an extended amount of time, not a weekend.

I've actually not been to Vegas much . . . I lived near Reno, which, in my opinion, is a kickin' little city.

There's a really cool lady from our old AOL chat room, she's on this site but I don't think she posts much, anyway, she also lives near Reno. I've only been there a couple of times and it was a long time ago. It must have changed a lot since then. It was a small town then, don't know now. But the lake is nice.

As a ceramists, I too like textures. And as a photographer, of course lighting it THE thing. I don't have a lot of time now for video games but they are cool. I liked that game, damn the name escapes me, but do you know the one where you go around a sort of maze and machine gun these guys that pop out from behind walls and such and blood spurts out. LOL, I guess there were/are a lot of them like that. 7th Guest was fun also.

That sounds cool too. I love to look at others people work. Whoops, haven't seen your site yet, sorry. Will get to it.
One of my photo teachers, make a complete tiny miniature of a freeway underpass and photographed it in B&W, you couldn't tell it wasn't the real thing.

I know nothing about the Internet or computers, perhaps @tomic could say. Whatever, it's nice to meet a fellow artist.
