Is there no depth of souless avarice in which our sorry excuse for a president won't wallow to feather bed corporate fellow-travelers, notably Halliburton?

Bush lifts wage rules for Katrina
President signs executive order allowing contractors to pay below prevailing wage in affected areas.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush issued an executive order Thursday allowing federal contractors rebuilding in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to pay below the prevailing wage.

In a notice to Congress, Bush said the hurricane had caused "a national emergency" that permits him to take such action under the 1931 Davis-Bacon Act in ravaged areas of Alabama, Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Bush's action came as the federal government moved to provide billions of dollars in aid, and drew rebukes from two of organized labor's biggest friends in Congress, Rep. George Miller of California and Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, both Democrats.

Impeach the degenerate motherfucker now, then lock his ass up without trial as he has done to so many!

Is there any chance we can impeach Dick Chenney instead. I believe that he is the more corporate savvy and dangerous of the two. Hell, I have so little respect for George Bush's ability that I consider him just a marionette for the "Dick & Karl Show".

Cheney shows up, Haliburton gets the contract.

I'm beginning to wonder how I as a citizen am going to fight the current outrageous government corruption.

They call Brown back to WA and let his more qualified underling take over. Yah, but we're still paying the good for nothing's salary because Bush, I can't admit I'm wrong, won't fire the guy.

They gerrymandered Texas districts to get a majority in the house. And before that all the Tom Delay corrupt money helped win the Texas State elections. Florida and Ohio election outcomes don't match exit poles.

Bush manages to get Pat Robertson's charity top billing on the list of hurricane relief charities. Despite the fact that Robertson got busted taking money from his charity for his own diamond mine business and had to pay $400 thousand back.

Cronyism, corruption, fraud, outing CIA agents for political gain......my god I'm sick of this crap!!!

Had I been the director of the CIA, I would have ordered the "leak" "plugged" with "lead".
