In case you missed it... Last week Thursday, September 8th, Dick Cheney dragged his sorry ass away from his own valuable leisure time to visit hurricane ravaged Gulfport, Mississippi. He was taking advantage of the disaster victims to do a little campaigning. (You did know that all actual work on saving lives and cleaning up has to stop for miles around when a top level government schmo arrives for a photo op, didn't you?)
In the middle of a live interview on CNN one of the Dickster's less adoring fans told him, using the most succinct of terms, to go screw himself. Then Dickhead, being his usual glib self, showed more disdain for his victims by making the situation into an offensive joke. His entourage of monkeys just laughed. Although this has been news for a few days, you can read more about it, and more about the perpetrator of this wonderful act...quote:

Dr. Ben Marble, a young emergency room physician who plays in alternative rock bands and does art on the side, needs our help. Since he was the one who told Dick Cheney to "go fuck yourself" on Sept. 8, that's the least we can do.
Marble is a complex guy, to say the least. Some of the lyrics he writes can be considered harsh by some -- personally what I've heard is very much on target - but he has a softer side as an organizer of breast cancer fund-raisers, not to mention an ER doctor.
So remember, as much as we might think it would be good for George, W. for Weasel, Bush to resign or to have a terribly unfortunate accident, the Dickster would be next in line to wreak even more of his own damage on the good citizens of the U.S. of A.

| So why didn't CNN show the arrest? Guess they're losing their gumption again. If you tell someone on the House floor to go f**k yourself you don't get arrested. Why should you be arrested for saying the same thing to the guy who said it on camera before? It isn't like he threatened Cheney. What a Dick, and I don't mean the Dr. |

In some parts of the south you can be arrested for saying "fuck" in public.
Escorting the guy outside their security perimeter should have been sufficient however. Comming around later and arresting him is quite fucked up.
