Looks like an interesting site, lh. I'll go into it in depth a little later.
Thanks....

Common people in Italy think you went to the moon only with Apollo 11.
I want to see your plastic covered capsule splashing down in 1969.
Hey, little guy DR_C, do you think this image is real?
Can't you notice that the yellow rectilinear line is the real horizon in some desert place of your country?
Can't you notice that the hills are faked, made by a bad photomontage?
They seem polystyrene hills.

That is a fake picture - if you look closely, it appears that there is a yellow line or something going across the picture about midway up the photo. It could just be a problem with developing, but after careful analysis I think it was drawn on the photo.

Maybe the astronaut was running in a race and hadn't crossed the finish line yet? |

See how everything is grey except for the flag, the austronaut, and the moon-buggy. It's obviously a fake picture, because someone was stupid enough to put colour flag in a black-and-white photo... |

I already considered that but the astronaut in the picture does not have his arms raised.

Couldn't help but notice that the flag has a perfectly straight top border while the rest of is waving in the breeze. Also, the wheel tracks look suspiciously like those made by a jeep.
Death Valley has sand formations like those in the background -- yep, gotta be a fake.
Kudos to brainbrake for cluing us in on this obvious fraud.

If you look real careful-like in the reflection in the astronauts sun-shield, you can see a Mayan temple in the back. I think maybe they shot this in Guatemala. |

Well, it would seem that the "common people in Italy", as you so quantly put it, are alot smarter than you are since they know that there were men on the moon at least once.
Not sure why it matters if you see a splashdown from 1969 or from 1973. The modules are practically the same (at least on the outside), and if you've seen one splash down, you've seen them all... Unless your Buzz Aldrin. His module sprung a leak, in a matter of speaking.
You shouldn't be basing your horizon line on the flag pole (the pole and your line make a 90 degree angle, so I would figure that's how you came up with it). You don't know whether that pole is perfectly verticle with the ground, or if it lists to the left. That's how it looks to me. If that's the case, your horizon line is about 5 degrees off. As for the true horizon line, I haven't a clue. The pic is cropped a bit to tightly for me to really judge.
Do I think the pic is real? Got me. I don't make assumptions on whether a pic is real or not until I get more info on it. You have given no evidence that it is fake, and I have seen simular pics in the past, so as far as I know, it's real. There's nothing on the pic, at first glance (other than your incorrect horizon line), that tells me it's fake. If you have some credible evidence, please, share it.
So, I ask you again (and I will keep asking until you answer), why do you care whether man went to space and/or the moon or not. Do you suffer some deep psychological trama over it. Did you lose a bet with a "common Italian" about men going to the moon, and you can't let it go? What? How does the belief that man landed on the moon tramatically affect your life?
Oh, and don't forget the satellites. |

My, my, our bombastic bigbrain still doesn't get it. The only real items in your Apollo 17 image is the flag, landing craft, and the astronaut. All the foreground, background, and distant hills is actually a cleaver muse perpetraited by those crafty boys at NASA. It's all a large mural, a large photograph of the real moon, with props here and there for effect. This chicanery involves all Apollo/Moon photos with using real lunar mural images taken on the moon during the ultra secret Apollo 10 1/2 mission. A lone astronaut, Sgt. Bob "Skeeter" Davis, was rocketed up to the moon to take these mural photos during the late spring of '69, just a few months before Neil Armstrong with Apollo 11 claimed to have gone there. It's true, 'cause I saw it on TV...and on the internet.
Now, I must go groom my neighbors aardvark.

For your perusal and edification: the Clavius Moon Base.
Therein, you, b-mused, will discover great truths and become as the enlightened. Your heart will soar with the knowledge it will impart to you, and, as it has been written, with knowledge, the scales will fall from your eyes and you will begin your journey toward wisdom.
Or perhaps the whole thing's a crock, eh?
I look forward to your comments....
