Prettymuch speaks for itself.

Ignorance is preferable to error; and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing, than he who believes what is wrong.

Democrats and Republicans alike are adept at making decisions without letting the facts get in the way, a new study shows.

Looks like this study won't be getting in the way, either.

Why continue? Because we must. Because we have the call. Because it is nobler to fight for rationality without winning than to give up in the face of continued defeats. Because whatever true progress humanity makes is through the rationality of the occasional individual and because any one individual we may win for the cause may do more for humanity than a hundred thousand who hug their superstitions to their breast.

First, I'd like to see the study. One needs to see the subjects, how many were there and just what discrepant information was used.

If you told me Kerry lied to get his purple heart in Vietnam, I would discount it so you have to see what information they presented. I have no doubt we filter the data coming in so I'm not saying I doubt the study. But the conclusions might be over stated.

Now on the other hand, if you were a Republican and you claimed to want less government and better moral behavior by your representatives, you would have to be blind to the fact this government wants to regulate our personal choices, invade our privacy, and there is some pretty immoral behavior at the top since Republicans took over everything.
