I'm calling bullshit on this one. Molestation indicates an underage participant or unwanted contact. No on both counts. And not unique to this President. (Yes, even the Republican ones.) And what felonies? I'll grant you perjury, but I haven't seen anything else. Also, please expalin what a hummer in the oval office has to do with a land deal in Arkansas. I've asked a lot of Republicans about this one and all I get is a reiteration that Clinton lied under oath. I'm not disputing that he did. I'm asking what the thing he lied about had to do with the investigation that prompted it.

quote:

"You can tell yourself that the pro-choice majority stayed home in the last election, or that they voted on other issues, or that Democrats botched the debate. But those excuses are getting tired. Sixteen years ago, as the behavior of voters and politicians showed, abortion was clearly a winning issue for you. Now it isn't. You have a problem."

And this completely ignores the fact that several devisive state issues such as outlawing gay marriage were in place which made the fundie block turn out in force. Republicans got their base to turn out better than the Democrats. The Republicans got more people to turn out than normally would by placing these issues out there in battleground states. It worked.

quote:

The Democrats are trying to "reframe" their message to make people think they believe abortion is wrong. I think this is going to be a hard sell if they plan to continue ferociously defending abortion-on-demand right up until the moment the baby's head is through the birth canal.

As Democrats don't advocate this, I find the contention unfounded. There is a partial birth abortion which Republicans find offensive and some Democrats, but that ignores the effects of morbidly hydrocephalic fetuses. These would otherwise have to be delivered (a great majority dead the rest not lasting more than a few hours) by ceasarian section which far more dangerous to the mother. It's a rare condition that pro-lifers focus on to add shock value to their tired arguments.

This is a direct cut and paste of Ann Coulter's copyrighted FrontPageMagazine.com article.

Yep, Valiant Dancer is correct. Bill Scott's posting above was plagiarized from an Ann Coulter item which was recently posted several places on the net. Here is one link... Abortion Stops a Bleeding Heart. It carries the notice, "© 2006 Ann Coulter".

It looks like the SFN is being opinion spammed by a guy who doesn't really have an original thought in his own head or the ability to express his own opinion. Damned shame.

This reminds me of an Onion article/sideline titled; "Abortion stops a beating."

Seems Billy is trying to get himself banned.

The cut/paste of copyrighted material is clearly in violation of the SFN user agreement.

And this is what... his 4th or 5th one today?

For a while there, I was playing with the thought that verlch was running a sock on us, but then I remembered that this sort of thing, plagiarism, isn't really his style. He's a lot more honest than that.

Hey Bill, all you have to do is put your borrowed article in quotes and provide a link to it, to stay out of trouble here. Doing it that way, you can put up almost anything you like.

OK, I don't have a problem with that and will do so in future posts.

Bill will need to trim down the size of the quote though. Posting the entire article is hardly considered "fair use".
Since Dave_W is our editor he is the one who ultimately makes the call, but I wouldn't allow more than half of it: that should be enough to get your point through.

Wasn't this article plagiarized from the same loonie rightist Ann Coulter who in a speech just a few days ago "jokingly" called for Justice Stevens to be poisoned to make room for a third Bush appointee to the Supreme Court? Talk about making "terrorist threats."
