Speaking of Bush's credibility, this news certainly doesn't help his case: Video shows Bush Katrina warning.
I heard his recent interview, before the video release so his lame excuses are going to look especially bad now. But with just the interview, I was simply astounded at the idiocy. This just tops the cake.
Bush claims that communication was a problem and somehow the news media was better at it so he was getting his information from the news. It doesn't even make any sense.
Then when asked what should have been done, he literally said, "We should have been able to give them more comfort." More comfort!!!!! Like what, drop stuffed bunnies to them on their rooftops?
And of course, there's the typical glaring missing news question every time I see these idiots talk about "lessons learned from Katrina," what about all the lessons learned before Katrina? How on Earth can those news idiots sit there and not notice such an obvious question?
(Could of put this under politics but I wanted to build on the credibility statement of Snake's in the Cheney thread.)
