Google will have to turn over some of the data requested by the Department of Justice, according to a ruling just handed down by US District Judge James Ware. The DoJ had subpoenaed search records from a one-week period covering 1 million random web addresses in an attempt to make its case for reviving the Child Online Protection Act, which was struck down in 2004. Google fought back, leading to today's ruling.

The current administration, (all three branches) are totally out of control. They are now arresting Vietnam war draft dodgers. They are jailing people without charges, trials, access to anyone let alone lawyers (Guantanamo and elsewhere). They are saying torture is OK, they are spying on citizens. They are controlling mass media in a degree never before seen in the US.

How far is this going to go before next Nov.? And even then, they have the Democrats crouching with tails tucked so who knows what will happen.

Dems have only themselves to blame.

Believe me, the Dems are disgusting right now. H Dean says the right things but those guys in DC are more lukewarm than milk toast. Not a single one backed the censure the Pres petition. What is wrong with those idiots? They've heard the Rep talking points so often they actually believe America doesn't want the Pres criticized during our constant state of war?
