From the Mobile Register 25 March 2006:
quote: Roy Moore doubts truth of mad cow
...said Friday he doubts that a recent report of mad cow disease in Alabama is true, suggesting it is a ruse to help government officials start an animal identification system.
And why would this be a problem, you ask?
quote: Ron Sparks, state commmisioner of agrigulture and industries, said it was "absurbd".
"Do you think we wanted a case of mad cow disease in Alabama? Lord knows we didn't" said Sparks, a Democrat. "For anyone to take on the wild tagent that it's the mark of the beast, that it's the end of time, it's absurd."
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the next Governor of Alabama and future heir to Pat Robertson, Roy '' Moore.

Look on the bright side, pleco. As a comedy routine, ol' Roy is a tough act to follow. Just think of the chuckles, laffs, and guffaws he'll give us all when he gets into the gov's mansion.
Oh..., wait..., I apologize. You're going to have to live with the fool, aren't you? Yeesh!!
My heart goes out to the sane of AL, and I hope that he gets thoroughly trashed in the coming elections along with every other, lowlife fundie on all ballots.
