Why does the "Astronomy/UFOlogy" forum join these two subjects as though they are on a par with each other? "Astronomy" is a science, while "UFOlogy" would be, uh.., an interest?? And i am interested in what people have seen in the 'local' skies, and very interested in what is seen in the cosmic sky as well. But i don't think they should be 'linked.'

Really Id like evolution to be separated from creationism but hey... I think it works out ok.

Claiming that the Sun has a solid surface and using bogus "evidence" is more pseudo-science than Astronomy, that much becomes evident if you bother to read the most popular threads in the Astronomy folders. If you read the folder description you'll see that "...and my doctored pics prove it" fits well. UFOs represent the pseudo-scientific aspect in astronomy-discussions like about the solid surface.
