Hi drmabus! Ya got booted from Bad Astronomy/Universe Today for multiple TOS violations, now spamming the same unsupported drivel over here.
Spaceships have been sent to Mars for quite a while.
BUT IN *ONE* YEAR (1999) *TWO* SPACESHIPS WERE DESTROYED *ON* MARS.
(i.e., The year 1999....BEFORE AND AFTER MARS REIGNS WITH GOOD
FORTUNE). That is a world historical novelty.
Since I hang out at this board too, I'll just point out once again that problematic translations, unsupported inferences, and your relying on the Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy aside, your premise is simply wrong. Martian probes failed before and after 1999 (Mars Observer and Beagle, anyone?) which directly disproves the "good fortune before and after" bit.
The good news, from your point of view, is that the rules are very loose here and you can listen to yourself talk for a lot longer before the admins ban you for spamming.
As for your penchant for getting upset when people don't reply to your strings of posts right away ("ARE YOU SLEEPING?") - to paraphrase the last line from the move Clue - why, yes... (whips off glasses, grins slyly) "I'm going up to sleep with my wife!" |

Hmm. I was under the impression that there wasn't any such thing as bad rum....least not that I've ever drunk.
