All of my coloured folders have disappeared. Half the time when I click on a subject I get a runtime error.

It's the webhosting company. I have been on it but it's taking forever and a half.

Yeah you've given me the rundown on that crowd before. Is this the same company who's tech support is run by 4 small children and their pet gerbil?
Good luck.

The gerbil is not a pet. Our host server runs on gerbil power. The wheel probably just needs a lube job...

OK, so this isn't just me. That's a good thing to know. Thought my computer at work was trying to keep me outta here.

getting "Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'Session'

/forum/active.asp, line 107

errors all over the place...about the only way I've been able to get around this is to enter a folder through the Search feature...a very 'hunt and pack' process

2 thoughts, such as they are:

Thought Number 1: Log in, find a topic to reply to, log out...log in, go to next one and reply, log out...etc etc...each time you reenter the board, you'll get a 404 Can't Be Found (but Refresh takes care of that)......long involved process.

Thought Number B: Has anyone noticed that these problems began at the same time that all the message icons (delete trach can, edit eraser, lock padlock) appear on every line of the forum list now? Wonder if that coding change has anything to do with these current problems?

You people make me SICK. Don't you remember when we had Morris Code, no telephones, B&W TV, and only 5 channels, airplanes, not jets. SHEESH!

So what Snake? We like our toys and we tend to get grumpy when we can't have them. You mean we have to act like an adult about everything?
Nah, I'd rather bitch whine and cry. Like mom always said, stick to what you're good at.

Well, I'm on @Home cable service at home, which may be shut off today. Then you'll really see someone whine and cry! My only other option is dialup, and going from 3Mbits/second to 26.4kbits/second is just inhuman torture.

I'm with you TD. I don't even have a dial-up account or a 2nd phone line at home anymore. We also have @Home at the office, which we waited 4 months to get. I don't want to have to deal with the crappy DSL service out here. Please, for the love of Apollo, make them stop!

The message board is sort-of working on my end now, but I still can't see recent posts from last visit; I have to go back at least to last day. Is this still the board's problem or is it mine?

This is about the only message I can get without jumping to a different section and then using the back key. Most heinous. The kids must be on nap and the gerbil is trapped in one of the wheel slots.

The "session" object was messed up at some point yesterday. The session object is what your cookie accesses when you log on and for remembering who you are and all that good stuff it is extremely important.

I got off the phone with tech help recently and they said they'd get on it. Sorry but for now that's all I can do. Just be patient.
