11-29-01 SCIENCE reported that the wreckage of an Afgan safe house of Osama bin Laden's merry men included "top-secret plans" for building an A-bomb: "Fashion plutonium into giant orbs using rubber cement, surround them with a mix of dynamite and Play-Doh, and add a remote-control mechanism from a toy car." However, not to worry! It was part of a "1979 issue of the Journal of Irreproducible Results, a Chicago Heights, Illinois, mock journal that lampoons science." SCIENCE is great about keeping its readers informed about the hillarious things going on in the world, as well as the strictly serious science being done. I have been reading SCIENCE for most of my life and it is my favorite magazine/journal.
