YO:

Just THIS In from the AP...

In his first public comment on Fidel Castro's illness, President Bush issued a statement on Thursday saying, “I urge the Cuban people to work for democratic change on the island.”

Yes, G. War! But you should think things through before opening your mouth. Democracy can install a power that's not friendly to the U-S. I think the recent elections in Gaza and Iran indicate that.

And before you blurt out a need for democratic elections now for the citizens of Lebanon, I suggest that you'd rethink that as well. Somehow I get the feeling that the Lebanese would vote for the terrorists now lobbing rockets into Israel.

But, I guess we can all bask in the victory of G. War's democracy that now makes possible the "peace and quiet" continuing in Baghdad.

OY!

Thing is, Bush doesn't think Chavez presides over a democracy.

YO, Gorgo. Do you think that Bush really thinks (And I use the term loosely) that Iraq is a democracy?

There are more and more Americans beginning to think that the USA
is not much of a democracy anymore, either; what with Diebold, hanging chads, Katherine Harris and Ken Blackwell.
