The following text is just part of a post from aanews@atheists.org the on line newsletter from American Atheists.
---------------------
In The Post - 9/11 Culture Climate, Is Insulting Nonbelief Becoming A Media Past Time?

It was hard for Ron Barrier to get in a few words, a cogent remark, a complete sentence.

Barrier, Communications Director for American Atheists, was making another Fox News Channel appearance last Monday, December 17, on the
popular Hannity & Colmes show. The topic was supposed to be the Pledge of Allegiance and the posting of religious mottoes such as "In God We Trust" in the nation's public school classrooms. Within about a minute of being introduced, though, the "interview" with Barrier quickly turned into a one-sided attack, gratis the aggressive and overbearing Sean Hannity.
---------------
Either here or on another group I mentioned once that I heard that jerk Hannity make a nasty remark about atheists on the radio.
I request, anyone interested should contact the station(s) he's on and let them know what you think about that. I don't want to stop anyone from stating their views, it's just the negitive tone in his voice and repulsive way he makes it sound if someone is an atheist. That's what I resent. He is almost like Rush with his pompous ideas and that anyone who disagrees with him is an idiot. HE'S the idiot moron. LOL, guess I should be putting this post in the other folder about the morons.

Egads, but I can't stand Sean Hannity! And to think, he got his start right here in Huntsville!

Regarding Ron Barrier, however... I've only seen him on a few occasions, and I was not at all impressed with his attitude, demeanor, and ability to get across an Athiestic viewpoint. A very poor representative, IMHO. Maybe I haven't seen enough, perhaps?

I haven't seen Barrier at all. True, not everyone in a 'cause' is the best spokesman for a group, sometimes you have to take what's avalible. (LOL, Bush would be another example.) But knowing that Hannity probably wouldn't let him get his points across doesn't help.
Poor you, even being in the same city as Hannity....that man is so annoying. I wouldn't even mind listing to Rush instead, it would be a vacation. Is Hannity famous or something? He's only been on KABC radio here in Los Angeles a short time and I never heard of him before that. Where DO they get these people?
