As I mentioned in an earlier post, Republican Representative Chris Shays of Connecticut is now advocating a pull-by date for troops in Iraq -- under strong pressure from his antiwar Democratic opponent.

Now, another strong pro-war voice, Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman, also of Connecticut, is warming up for his own flip-flop. Looks like it's shaping up to be a difficult 2006 election for the pro-war crowd, so those tigers who have so bravely sent their constituents' kids into harm's way are now trying to change their stripes.

So Joey Lieberman now is an official member of Al Qaida?

He may need to change his name. It sounds a little too... "ethnic"... for Osama's bunch.

Maybe the US should invade Connecticut, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity....
