You may have heard of the Q-Ray bracelet:
quote: Like acupuncture, yoga and tai-chi, the Q-Ray Ionized bracelet is based on traditional Oriental medicine. The Q-Ray is designed to naturally balance the negative and positive energy forces in your body to achieve a state of “Chi,” where you will feel and perform at your best, and have more energy to lead an active lifestyle.
Now a judged has ruled that buyers were misled and deserve refunds:
quote: U.S. District Judge Morton Denlow ordered QT Inc. of Mount Prospect, Illinois, and its owner, Que Te Park, to refund more than 100,000 buyers of the bracelets -- priced up to $249.95 -- and forfeit profits of $22.6 million earned between 2000 and 2003.
I hope this charlatan Park winds up on a street corner with a (ionized) tin can.

The foundation of morality is to . . . give up pretending to believe that for which there is no evidence, and repeating unintelligible propositions about things beyond the possibliities of knowledge. T. H. Huxley
