To my critics, I said all that lie stuff was boring me to tears way back in the Coulter forum. And its doubly boring me here. If thats all you have to offer that's sad. I know you all have something more to offer than that. I'll say the same thing here that I said in the Coulter forum. (Yawn) I'm probably not going to reply to anyone who is rude. And if you think one of my reply's is rude than say so and don't reply for that reason. |

LOL I was going to respond to that very sentence myself, but wanted to catch up with the thread first. I was thinking car wreck, but nobody would have laughed. |

I don't believe you understand this. None of your post/replies indicate that you understand this. And now you claim that you are bored when other members hold you accountable for your words. And when you are press/cornered by your words you change the subject.
You know there are other forums out there where you can find like minded, unthinking, fundy buddies. I'm sure they won't press you to support your words or even hold you accountable for them. |

More than that has been offered, but you have refused to engage in those discussions, too. You're often simply refusing to talk about anything that disagrees with what you assert to be the truth. When you say "none" of my posts (196 of them) indicate that I understand the mission of this Network I think you really start to lose credibility. It sounds like a man on a search and destroy mission rather than someone interested in logical thinking. Maybe you ought to read the mission statement yourself.

Quantity does not mean quality, GK Paul!
If you use faulty illogical reasoning or make claims that is demonstrably false on a skeptic forum you will be called on it. This has nothing to do with rudeness.
Trying to weasel your way out of mistakes will not make anything better.
Please stay, share your ideas, views and questions, but don't expect anyone here to accept your claims unless you are prepared to support them with facts (not anecdotes or wishful thinking). |

The only thing I get our of your posts, GKP, is more examples of how utterly willfully ignorant a person can be. I do enjoy seeing your pathetic assertions demolished though. |

I sorry to say this but this forum is just degrading into a series of personal attacks against me. I don't mind if you confront my ideas, using logic and critical thinking, but when you make "personal" rude attacks you've gone too far and I'm just going to have to put people on ignore which I haven't done to anyone yet.
So Just be advised from this point on anyone who is rude or makes (or implies) any type of derogatory statement against me "personally" is probably going to be put on ignore. |

GK Paul, I've spoken with Jesuits who could make this hard-headed skeptic's head spin and ache as they propounded their nonsense. The Jesuits were especially good at using logic -- it was missing only in key areas, and this lack was well-disguised. Jesuits are highly trained in apologetics.
But over and over here (as in your willfully ignorant, hand-waving dismissal of the Big Bang), you are using the worst kind of vulgar logical fallacies in your arguments, particularly "argument from ignorance" and "argument from personal incredulity."
(I won't even delve here into your repeated but dishonored promises to define and give evidence for your Trinity.)
From Wiki:quote: Argument from ignorance
The two most common forms of the argument from ignorance, both fallacious, can be reduced to the following form:
* Something is currently unexplained or insufficiently explained, so it was not (or could not be) true. * Because there appears to be a lack of evidence for one hypothesis, another chosen hypothesis is therefore considered proven.
An adage regarding this fallacy from the philosophy of science is that "absence of evidence is not evidence of absence": not having evidence for something is not proof that something is not or cannot be true. Similarly, merely not having evidence for a particular proposition is not proof that an alternative proposition is instead the case--it is in fact simply lack of evidence, and nothing more. [edit]
Argument from personal incredulity
Two common versions of the argument from personal incredulity are:
* "I can't believe this is possible, so it can't be true" (The person is asserting that a proposition must be wrong because he or she is (or claims to be) unable or unwilling to fully consider that it might be true, or is unwilling to believe evidence which does not support her or his preferred view.) * "That's not what people say about this; people instead agree with what I am saying." (Here the person is asserting that a proposition must be inaccurate because the opinion of "people in general" is claimed to agree with the speaker's opinion, without offering specific evidence in support of the alternative view.)
Now, please work on your skills at apologetics!
I said in Part 2 of this forum that I would respond to questions once you told me your belief system and how you believe the world was created. You told me your belief system but you did not tell me how you believed the world was created. |

With regard to Coulter and lies. Nobody had shown me that Coulter lied in the Book Godless. The whole idea of her book was that liberals show similiar characteristics to church memebers. When Nancy Pelosi says lets overturn this budget as an act of worship she is acting similar to a church member by advocating worship. That's not a lie.
When Coulter states that liberals consider abortion a sacrament. She is obviously using the analogy that a sacrament is something that is paticulary revered as very important to an organization. As she states, why do you think there is always World War III in Congress whenever a new Supreme Court judge is nominated. The reason there is always World War III in Congess is because the abortion issue is revered (as a scrament is) by bothe sides. So when she uses the sacrament analogy she is not lying anymore than feminists were lying when they wore t-shirts that said "If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament".
And with regard to Naral, the fact is that when I looked on the front page of their web site, I could not find the word abortion anywhere. Going to a web link is not the front page.
And nobody has shown me that you can't make a donation to NEA.
Nobody has conclusively shown me that Coulter lied in the book Godless and if she did lie, I believe she was wrong. and I said that in the Coulter Forum. |

No, the lie is that you (and Coulter) think she was worshipping liberalism, when Pelosi clearly said that the budget should be voted against as an act of worship of the Christian God.quote: When Coulter states that liberals consider abortion a sacrament. Go ahead and make one, then, and prove that Coulter was not lying.quote: Nobody has conclusively shown me that Coulter lied in the book Godless...
That's because you refuse to play fair, and instead move the goalposts around. If you had stuck with your original statements (Pelosi worshipping liberalism, abortion is a sacrament [not just a metaphor], liberals avoid using the word 'abortion' and that liberals are encouraged to donate to the national teacher's union), you would have admitted Coulter's lies long ago.
You say that we should avoid making this personal, but you, GK Paul, are the problem here. If you were an honest person, you wouldn't be defending Coulter's lies by lying about them.quote: ...and if she did lie, I believe she was wrong. and I said that in the Coulter Forum.
Which doesn't matter one bit, since you refuse to look at the evidence that shows she did, indeed, lie. Yours is an empty gesture. |
