Ricky, my group - The Humanist Association of Greater Philadelphia - will have its HumanLight celebration on December 17th at the Old Mill Inn at 18 Horsham Road, Hatboro, PA. The price will be $20.00 and we should have an online RSVP set up in about a week or so. (Our website is www.hagp.org)
Socializing with drinks starts at 12:30 and then we have an emcee who gives an intro at 1PM, then lunch, then a professional story teller, then a speaker from the Princeton Ethical Humanist Fellowship, and finally a social hour. The whole event is set to be family friendly and we're trying to get people of all ages to come, with so far pretty good luck. It's not nearly as large as the NJ celebration, but then, this is only our first year doing it. |
