As if to rub in the galling fact that I simply can't out-silly reality in my Moonscape News spoofs, BBC has an old article showing RSA Design Direction Awards for the year 2005. One such award went for the Praystation, below. (At the linked page, it's number 8 of 9 in the slideshow.)

Praystation, by Douglas Maitland,
addresses declining church attendance
in the year 2018. It offers "Fast Faith"
in the shape of a booth, where an
e-priest plays the part of a conscience
and downloads forgiveness or absolution.

Here's a link to Moonscape News, and one to its Archive.
