The Christian version of the Eveready Bunny (who we all got sick of early on) has started up his mouth, lips flapping like Grandpa's longjohns on the closeline, without bothering to think it through. Again. It's no big deal, really; he does it every year. quote:

This is actually rather clever. It's a long time until September and too many of the knee-jerk followers of this charlatan have short memory spans. And the remainder don't care, otherwise they wouldn't be knee-jerkers.
Sooo, on the face of it, all we have to do is wait until September and then listen carefully to our bomb-shelter radios until next January. The only question I have is: which terrorists? Might they be Islamic idiots, or faithful Christians trying to get God off his lazy ass and bring on the Rapture, or Armageddon, or the Tribulation, or what-the-hell-ever -- who can keep track of it all?
It is of some interest to note that God has never told him to shut his freakin' pie-hole.... Perhaps he/she/it sees the same amusement value in him that we do.

Too bad most of Robertson's followers are dead ignorant knuckle-walkers, or they might at least remember:

I don't like the idea of shooting real wolves, but Robertson is only metaphorically one, and, sadly, is hardly a member of an endangered species.

He's left himself an out: "If everybody prays enough, shit won't happen 'cause God will have been stroked and will be happy (a modest paraphrase)." He's used variations on this hoary tripe before when his laughable storm predictions failed.
I keep being reminded: this mendacious gasbag has recieved millions from the government under Bush's Faith Based Inititives Swindle.
