Maybe it's just too late on Friday afternoon, but did anyone else find that astoundingly painful?

I actually watched and listened to all of the first bit, and browsed elewhere for bits of the second part, but listened to all of it.

Don't take this the wrong way, Torr, I'm not criticising you personally, or especially your intentions/motives, I just found this particular piece somewhat 'orrible.

I couldn't get through more than about 90 seconds of the first one, when I tried it 10 hours ago.

Reminded me of a root canal. I watched about a minute thinking it was going to get better - it didn't...

I'm with you, b'gal. Linking to a video without a summary or description of what I might expect to see is like linking to any other article, image, or web page without offering some preliminary relevant comments. I'm hesitant to click a link in those situations even if the poster is a regular SFNer. If it's a first time poster, I'm probably not the only one who thinks of it as just another hunk of spam.

Guys it's his video. He even has the same name.

Yeah, it's obviously something he put together himself and worked pretty hard on, so I'm hesitant to be critical. I think it was meant to be tongue in cheek, with the over-wrought language and "journey through time" theme overdone for comedic effect. It just didn't quite work for me.

Tor, I'm assuming you wrote the text first and then put it to images later. It seems to me that in many cases the images you chose were longer than time it took to say a given line, making for a video that takes a really long time to get anywhere. I would try to streamline it quite a bit so that it moves along at a brisker pace. People's attention spans--especially for clips on the net--are short. If you don't get somewhere in the first 60 seconds, expect people to change the channel.

Just my two cents.

Didn't sound like a response to me.

That was easier on the eyes and ears. But calling it a "response" is more than a bit of a stretch.

I logged into the page. I really don't have time to browse your entire soft-porn collection. Again, how does this constitute a response?

If you're just trying to drive traffic to your site(s), that's all well and good, but how about being a little more honest about it?

If people like your content, and you describe it adequately, you may well get some traffic and possibly even some fans. As it stands though, you're more likely to get ignored for spamming or irrelevance.

Whoa, you should view them there Pope's soft-porn Sistine Chapel collection. I think it's a little larger than moi's female human images, butt, moi's pics are a bit 'hotter' than Mich's 'twere.
I also tell ya that you'll help prevent prostrate cancer, with proper 'meditation', unlike them Pope guys who seem to want dudes to get it.
