Poll Question:
Please don't say it doesn't matter because I have found it does. You are never the person at 50 you were at 17 and this is just a survey and not a judgement of your maturity because we are just as immature as the next person.

I think I know a couple of posters on here that wouldn't mind voting in the 18-25 group.

Speaking for meself I am quite young. And I've been quite young for a very, very long time. Years and years and...things (like youth) require a deal of practice if you intend to do them right. I've had so much practice at it that damned if I'm not perfectly young.

People are rarely anything other than the ages listed.

Being able to think clearly (brains) makes the difference.
I have always been the same person, deep down inside, although my appearance has changed somewhat over the years. I have always been firmly in control of any change in myself.
I have been skeptical all of my entire life. Proselytization never worked with me. I never believed in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Bogeyman, or in any religions that grownups (and, later, fellow adults) attempted to foist upon me. Grownups tried, but I won out. I saw through religious baloney when it was first discussed with me.
I have retained my individuality throughout my entire life. Some people liked me; some did not. I went along with the ones who did. It has made all of the difference. Oh, of course, I listened to the ideas of others, but I never let anybody proselytize me about anything.
I have been in charge of my life, of my thinking, and of my behavior throughout my entire life. My appearance is only skin deep. I can live with a few wrinkles...

Hmm.. I must have been unclear. What I am wondering is, why were those particular age ranges chosen: 26-35, for example, rather than 26 to, say, 40. This is purely idle curiosity on my part, and I believe that I would have picked similar (if not the same) ranges. So, Dr. S, what was your thought process when you picked those particular ages?

I didn't vote because you didn't say mental age or phsical age, did you? I have always picked 12 as the age I believe myself to be. That's arbitray but I should probably say 10. I don't remember anything from before I was 7 and between 7-10 I formulated my ethical, moral, social and spritial ideals. Althougth my mother told me at 3 I denounced god, so I guess my ideas were formulating before I was remembering. I have not changed my attitude toward life since I was 10. The only thing that has moved me in one direction more then any other is my hatred. That has become stronger toward women but other then that I feel I am the same person I was at 10. And, PS. My cousin once at around 15 give or take a year gave us a test, I think he got it out of Readers Digest. It was supposed to determan your mental age by asking a few random questions. Who knows how scietific it was but he was astounded that my score was far beyond my cronological age (at that time). Take that for what it's worth.

What exactly is the question? What is the point as well?

Perhaps like all polls, just to get meaningless answers and opinions. IMO! Or it could be that inquiring minds want to know. Don't you think it's interesting to find out what people think?
