I look forward with baited breath (which is why I have so few friends) to the Creationists spin on this...

Methinks they'll find a way, and it'll be hilarious!

They will either ignore it and continue to claim that no such evidence exists, misunderstand in such a way that it actually proves their point or simply call the scientist involved names.

That is at least what they have done in comparable situations in the past, and I can't say that I find it funny anymore.

Lars, my friend, I find it vastly amusing. Consider, yet more ammunition to accuratly fire at the text book re-arangers and the others that want to spread myth in place of fact.

And how they will howl when the tested, documented, and peer reviewed facts hit them.

My ear, the one that still works, is listening for the music.

All luck,

D

Are you using your baited breath to catch Darwin Fish?

I'm with Lars, the Creationists will over look the uncovered evidence and obliterate the idea as always.

there is no evidence that will be adequate to convince the biblical literalist of a fact contrary to his faith.

True enough ComradBilly, but it will influence school boards and polititions, those who are not entirely brain-deadened. Which is another step in the right direction (to a chorus of condemnation from the wackier pulpets). Love it!

Thank you for the article which is expected to appear in NATURE. I will look forward with bated breath to read it (and will check out this week's (online on Wednesdays) issue of NATURE.

What a great discovery, and only 5 days from the anniversary of Darwin's birth.

Hopefully those fighting the current attempt by creationists in Ohio to incorporate "intelligent design" into the school curriculum there will use this to knock more holes in their already spongy logic.
