I think they sort of shot themselves in the foot when they said this would prevent teen pregnancies. Huh?
This whole thing doesn't make sense. A kid is confused, wants to reach out and talk, so they'll toss his ass in jail. And they say they want to keep a kid "innocent" one more day? Gimme a break. They're telling kids "conform, or else".

But if you look at the results of the poll, more people think that the issue should not be a classroom topic.(Suppose that rules out 2 Samuel 1:26 and other parts of the bible)

It is unfortunate that such a prevalent human topic is misunderstood by so many. I have nothing against gays, in fact one of my closest mates "came out" when he was around 25, however it was amazing how many of his "friends" quickly turned their back on him. Which says to me that MAYBE some of these people that oppose these issues so vehemently have skeletons of their own in the closet anyway.

In fact, I recently watched an interesting documentary about the killing of a gay man in the States somewhere. He was killed by a homophobic redneck, who was discovered during the trial to have had gay sex himself....just looking for the case....back soon

There it is, the man was Billy Jack Gaither, and the link is

but what makes it a little bearable is that now he is in prison probably having the time of his life with "Bubba"….hehehe

I could never understand why so many people are so intolerant of other people that aren't just like they are. Yeah, I've heard all the B.S. about religious indoctrination and internalized homophobia, and a thousand other pathetic excuses, but sometimes I can't help but to look at our species as a collective group, shake my head and walk away. Ten thousand years of civilization, and we're still the territorial hunter-gatherers of the past.

Why should we care who our neighbor loves?

I just read the article. Wouldn't this at least violate the First Amendment?

The senators going for approval remind of spoiled brats who, instead of listening, put their hands over their ears, and scream in the hopes of ignoring it.

Let's face it, these slimeballs are bigots who are unfit to be in the legislature.

I am sure that is open to debate, but so far courts have been ruling all over the spectrum with anything concerning sexual orientation.
