We had a problem with our trusty ol' SFN database today so I had to revert back to yesterday's backup. I'm sorry about the lost posts but this was absolutely necessary.
I think one new member signed up and I hope you read this because that means your account went poof. You will need to re-register.

Ah, that might explain a problem I earlier.

Thanks for the catch James. That's a problem we wanted to know about ASAP. The longer it took the more posts that would be lost.

I found out what happened. When I compacted the database some of the autonumber fields were reset. Fortunately I found some information on what to do to keep this from happening again.

Last night's outage was my fault. Sorry folks. When I replaced the database, it was missing 2 fields I had placed in it and basically that meant that part of the new configuration was missing bringing it all to a screeching halt.

I noticed a few problems, like extraneous text in the "Respond With/Edit Quote" textbox. Missing fields maybe caused jump to some odd storage location. Also, I noticed it happened shortly after the "Burn in Hell" posting-response to "in re religion." God's wrath began to digitally manifest, but not in time to wipe out the database corruption of my sacrilegious entry, so Satan still prepares my cubicle.
