InChrist> “This means I will call anyone who professes to be a Christian just that, a Christian. I do not judge them. But I can evaluate their actions and tell you whether or not they are living a Christian life.”

A question: What makes you an authority on who's living a Christian life or not?

“I feel compelled to apologize to everyone who has had a bad experience with someone calling themselves a Christian”

How am I, as an atheist, supposed to tell one Christian from another. All claim to know what God is, wants and means.
If you take the Bible literally, then did Noah curse his son, and force him to be the servants of his brothers forever? Do you condone racism on the basis of this?
If Moses went up on the mountain, and God showed him the boundaries of Israel, and then Moses died right there, on the mountain, who wrote that part?
Which Genesis is correct?

Why would the apostles die for a lie? Do the muslims die for a lie?

Nor can you. No longer.”

I keep an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake (crotalus adamanteus) named 'Tammy Faye'. She is very calm and easy to get along with, but waers a lot of eye shadow.

It's a good thing all right - you'd probably make me a convert.

I am a High Priestess (haf'hrdn) of Great Cthulhu...

The Cult of Cthulhu has much better taste in fashion, too.

Man, you yak so much, I wish you'd just pick one point per post and stick with it.

So how do you know that what I say is true?

Okay, how?

You know, when you feel compelled to do something pointless and illogical, it's time to sit down and take a good look at yourself.

> I don't want to convert you to atheism or anything

Or, more accurately, de-convert him to atheism.

> So far I have not found any inerrancy as I see it.

Me, neither!

Hello all.

Don't mean to clog up the message board, but I just wanted to let you know that I have read and enjoyed your posts very much. I wish to be able to write some more, but I am going to be out of town for a few days, so I will have to wait until I get back. If I don't respond when I get back, you all can go ahead and stone me. (Hehe, just a little Christian irony) Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.

Grace and Peace

Josh
