When applying for visa to the US you have to confess if you plan to commit terror acts on US soil. If you admit this your application might be denied.
That Mohamed Atta and Marwan Al-Shehhi might have lied on their applications doesn't seem to have occurred to the INS.

I have always wondered what happens if you answer with yes, on these papers that ask you, if you plan to overthrow the US gouvernment. I never quiet had the courage to find out.
But seriously does anyone know, wether there is there some sort of actual reason for making people fill out these papers?

I like it when they ask you at the airport if anyone strange asked you to carry something on board. Umm, er, no. I swear to Allah nobody gave me Nikes made of plastic explosive.
It's lucky for us that terrorists are such a truthful lot.

Apperantly the INS is still not entirely convinced that they lied.
It seems that on monday their flight instructor in Florida recived confirmation that his pupils Mohammed Atta and Marwan al Shehhi have been approved for student visas!

This sounds kind of like our laws against committing suicide. They can lock you up in jail if you kill yourself.
They can lock you up in jail if you kill yourself.
The Brit's were even better. Until 1898 their punishment for attempted suicide was hanging.

Chicken! Ah come on, wouldn't it be worth it, to find out?

I'll take a guess at this one... To give jobs to people who stand around doing nothing or to have 'busy work', so they can waste more of our tax money?

Can't have been 'busy work'. Those green papers were distributed by flightatendants while we were still in flight.
These forms were really strange.
I never found out what a crime of moral turpitude was supposed to be. I just claimed that I never comited any.
The worst part was were it said that just answring yes to any of the questions would not automatically prohibit you from entry.
I guess that means that if you answer yes to the terrorism question there is still a chance to be allowed into the country.
Of course the colleges whose job it is to keep you from smuggling stuff into the country are strange to:

"Did anyone put anything into your luggage without your knowledge?"
OH! Those little cards on the plane, you didn't say THAT! It's been a while since I've filled out one, don't remember the luggage question. Must be new since all this mess. It still could be busy work, someone has to sort through them! Whatever! It's still all rediculous and idiotic. Good thing we still have free speech so we can make fun of the government for doing it.

Would like to take this opertunity to say that the INS is one of the worst people to deal with. They are rude. If they spent 1/2 the time they do being nasty as they should doing a proper job, things wouldn't be so disorganized. Boy, do I hope the FBI or someone is reading this web site, I will be glad to give them my name so they can put me on THE LIST. Hell I'm everyone elses. This government SUCKS. You hear that Mr. Moron, I mean Mr. Bush.
