Oh ye gods -- a sixth sense or a sixpence worth of wishful dreaming? In an interview with The Sunday Times, Lord Drayson said: 'In my life there have been some things I have known, and I don't know why.
| Because you obviously fail to understand that everyone knows things such as that. And why? well, its knowledge gleaned from subtle clues that you don't pay much conscious attention to until they have built up enough information to 'appear,' as it were. Nothing magic about it.
It's an old, evolutionary survival device that, at least today, is wrong as often as right. C'mon Lord D., be a scientist and not some jumped-up fortune teller with an archaic title.

A PhD in Robotics. In other words, an engineer. Engineers generally (painting with a broad brush here, if it doesn't apply to you I obviously didn't mean you) are completely ignorant about psychology. |
