This guy is the one responsible for xians running around saying things like atheists are unpatriotic! Remember George Bush Sr. saying that if you're an atheist, he didn't think you could be considered a true citizen of the United States?

Then there's this AIG cartoon which portrays "evolutionists" as unpatriotic and immoral.

Our old friend PZ Myers has something to say about that.

What brought that on? this. Original posting here.

Another example of this guy's lunacy here.

Good riddance. Oops: No God or heaven for George M. Docherty. Serves him right. Too bad he didn't croak in 1950.

Is that the origin of the expression "Doche-bag"?

Merely one ugly, less-than-significant head on the Christian hydra. It is no loss to the beast, which can clone more just like it and will. <shrug>

Besides, it was the Congress of the time, with typical Congressional cowardice, who passed that unconstitutional act. Docherty was just doing what a good, devout Christian does: beat everyone over the head with his asinine beliefs, and pick their pockets until his final demise, assisted or otherwise.

What a pity we'll never get to piss on his grave, but that's not important either, really. The grave to piss on is the hydra's.
